Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a dedicated Packer to join our team in Hanover, PA at the High Street facility. You will inspect and pack products into boxes, cartons, and cans, working in a team environment with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities include scanning inventory, preparing packing areas, and assisting with sanitation. Must be able to stand all day, read basic information, and communicate in English or Spanish. Full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Fluency in English or Spanish for communication and reading.
• Must be willing and able to stand 100% of the time.
• Willingness to be trained as backup lineperson and packer.
• Ability to operate a hand jack and assist with shrink-wrapping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspects packaged items and ensures quality during packing.
• Packs products into boxes, cartons, cans, or specialty containers.
• Scans finished product into inventory using scanning equipment.
• Sets up packing mats and cartons before production begins each day.
• Assists with sanitation and cleaning duties in the packing area.
• Relays issues to machine operator or shift supervisor as needed.
• Supports breaks and lunches and helps in other duties as assigned.
