Insulated Products Corporation (IPC) is seeking a reliable QHS Coordinator to support Quality, Health & Safety operations in our Compton, California facility. The role collaborates with the Plant Manager and production team to uphold product quality, promote workplace safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve day-to-day manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working on the production floor for the majority of the workday.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, safety, production, warehouse, or related industrial environments.
• Recent graduates with internship experience in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering technology, quality assurance, or occupational safety are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, workplace safety, and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production quality throughout daily manufacturing operations.
• Verify compliance with Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and quality standards.
• Track scrap, rework, and recurring quality concerns, reporting trends and findings to management.
• Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Receive, document, and help track customer quality complaints.
• Support internal quality inspections and production audits.
