About the Role
Insulated Products Corporation (IPC)is seeking a reliable and hands-on Production Support Coordinator to assist with daily production operations, quality checks, safety support, and shop floor coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role works closely with the Plant Manager and production team to help support workflow, monitor production quality, maintain reporting accuracy, support safety and compliance efforts, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations on the manufacturing floor.
This is a great opportunity for someone with early manufacturing experience who is dependable, bilingual (English/Spanish), comfortable working on the production floor, and has basic computer skills. Training and leadership support will be provided.
Production Support
- Support daily production operations on the manufacturing floor
- Help monitor workflow and ensure production processes are followed
- Communicate with production staff throughout the shift in English and Spanish
- Assist with tracking production output, downtime, scrap, and daily issues
- Report production concerns to the Plant Manager as needed
- Support general shop floor coordination and production flow
Safety, Quality, Production & Compliance Responsibilities Include
- Support enforcement of safety policies, PPE requirements, and company
procedures - Identify unsafe behaviors and assist with immediate corrective action on the
production floor - Help monitor production quality and verify compliance with BOMs and work
instructions - Track scrap, rework, and recurring quality issues for reporting and follow-up
- Receive, log, and help track customer complaints for management review
- Support production audits and reporting accuracy
- Assist with facility compliance documentation and regulatory recordkeeping
- Help maintain SDS/MSDS documentation and hazardous material records
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Maintain daily production logs and reports
- Enter and verify production data accurately
- Support basic reporting using Excel or digital tracking systems
- Assist with documentation and general production support tasks
Requirements
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, QC, warehouse,
or related environments preferred - Recent graduates with internship experience in manufacturing, production, quality,
or industrial environments are encouraged to apply - Basic understanding of manufacturing, production, quality, or safety practices
- Comfortable working on the production floor for most of the shift
- English and Spanish speaking required
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and organized
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
