Job summary

BelPak is seeking a QA Manager-level professional to lead the laboratory and audit functions within the Quality Assurance Department. The role focuses on maintaining plant quality systems in a multi-customer environment and ensuring compliance with GMP, sanitation, and food safety programs.

Responsibilities include supervising QA inspectors and lab staff, developing audit/testing programs, and coordinating with management on corrective actions and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in food industry quality systems.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to support internal and external customers with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and supervise QA Inspectors and lab technicians.
• Develop and maintain audit and testing programs to comply with customer and company requirements.
• Identify and isolate out of specification material and maintain hold documentation.
• Assist plant management during start-ups, test runs, or projects.
• Maintain pest control and environmental monitoring programs.
• Perform GMP and sanitation inspections monthly and support corrective actions.
