Job summary

Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center in Milford, MA, is hiring a Psychotherapist to provide outpatient mental health services, including addiction treatment support, in a collaborative team environment.

The role emphasizes evidence-based care, patient advocacy, and community engagement to improve health outcomes for diverse populations. The position requires MA licensure as LMHC/LISW/LCSW/LMFT or eligibility for independent licensure, with a salary range of $65,000–$80,000 per year

Qualifications

• Current active license to practice in Massachusetts (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Outpatient psychotherapy experience in a team-based setting helpful.
• Experience with Office Based Addiction Treatment and SUD patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient mental/behavioral health psychotherapy to patients.
• Provide brief and longer-term psychotherapy, consultation, assessment and evaluation.
• Serve as a member of the clinical practice team and work collaboratively with others.
• Coordinate care for patients and support families in self-management with evidence-based approaches.
• Engage in health center projects addressing specific patient population needs.
• Maintain necessary paperwork and documentation per policies.
• Provide consultation to medical providers and programs on mental health issues.
• Provide patient advocacy, outreach, and education in the community.
• Adhere to department protocols regarding patient care.
• Perform other duties and attend required department/center meetings and trainings.

Job Summary

• Provide outpatient mental/behavioral health psychotherapy to patients of the Health Center, including the health center's Office Based Addiction Treatment and SUDpatients.
• Provide brief and longer-term psychotherapy, consultation, assessment and evaluation.

• Perform other duties and work on special projects as assigned by the supervisor including attendance at requested department, center, and outside meetings and/or trainings.

Job Requirements

• A current active license to practice in Massachusetts as a LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LMFT OR Independently License Eligible
