Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a bilingual Psychiatric PA-C or PMHNP to provide remote psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to patients nationwide via telemedicine. Providers must hold an active license in their state of residence and in Oregon.

The role emphasizes a patient-first approach and collaborative care across a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluations, psychopharmacology, MAT support, and care coordination for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Medical License in state of primary residence
• DEA License
• Bilingual English and Spanish (required)
• A patient-first mindset
• Comfortable to work in fully-remote environment

Responsibilities

• Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations for general mental health and SUD across ages.
• Psychopharmacological management of psychiatric conditions.
• Data Waivered or willing to learn to provide MAT for OUD.
• Supportive psychotherapy and motivational interviewing.
• Care coordination between psych, substance use treatment, and medical integration.
• Direct support for scheduled and walk-in patients.
• Documentation of treatment plans and rating scales to guide level of care.
• Coordinate resources and referrals (housing, social determinants).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PCPs, pediatrics, OB/GYN, counseling, and peer support.
