RPM Development Group in Union City, NJ seeks a Bilingual Assistant Property Manager to support affordable housing communities. The role emphasizes leasing, compliance, waitlist management, and resident services to sustain occupancy and quality standards.

The APM collaborates with the Property Manager, handles application processing, recertifications, and subsidies with attention to audit-ready records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish is required.
• Knowledge of affordable housing and market-rate housing is preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property waitlists and keep them fresh with viable leads and current household information.
• Assist pre-applicants with waitlist onboarding via Rent Café.
• Handle new resident applications, educate on qualification processes, and process leases.
• Aim to maintain 97.5% occupancy through proactive vacancy management and marketing.
