Job summary

EAH Housing is seeking an Office Assistant for Kukui Gardens in Honolulu, HI, a 398-unit affordable housing community. This Tax Credit property requires affordable housing management experience; LIHTC knowledge is preferred. Yardi and COS are pluses. Salary range listed: $19.95–$30.40/hr; new-hire range typically $19.95–$25.18/hr, DOE.

The role supports the Property Manager and office staff to ensure fiscal, physical, and social soundness across the complex.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of property management experience.
• Bi-lingual.
• Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH a plus.
• Able to multitask in a busy office environment.
• Good phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Collect rents, make bank deposits, prepare and submit rent roll, verify income.
• Comply with HUD, TCAC or other regulations.
• Answer phones, assist residents and guests as first point of contact.
• Prepare correspondence, maintain office neatness and inventories.
