Job summary

Socket.dev in the United States is hiring a Production Training Specialist to guide new hires through a two-week on-the-job training and acclimation period, delivering structured training, coaching, and documentation for Packing Operators and Harvest Technicians.

You will observe performance, provide real-time feedback, complete training records, and hand off trained employees to their shift and lead, in both English and Spanish as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication.
• Strong verbal, written, and documentation skills.
• Ability to learn and deliver established training curriculum.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and varying greenhouse environments.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training and coaching to new hires after orientation.
• Deliver established training curriculum for assigned production roles.
• Introduce employees to work centers, equipment, safety expectations, GMPs, sanitation, quality standards, and production expectations.
• Observe employee performance and provide real-time coaching and corrective instruction.
• Complete required training records, checklists, and written assessments.
• Evaluate employee readiness and identify individuals needing additional coaching or not suited for the role.
• Communicate progress and concerns to Operations leadership, Human Resources, supervisors, and line leads.
• Provide structured handoff of trained employees to their assigned shift and lead.
• Train and coach employees in English and Spanish as needed.
• Document lessons learned and recommend improvements to training materials and onboarding processes.
• Maintain a positive, professional learning environment and reinforce safety, attendance, quality, and performance expectations.
