You will create and maintain detailed shop floor schedules, coordinating with production, engineering, purchasing, and sales to align capacity and deadlines. Day-to-day tasks include tracking work orders, expediting critical jobs, updating planning systems, and preparing status reports.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Production Planning and Production Schedules skills, including experience creating and managing detailed shop floor schedules.
• Candidates should possess solid Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast demand, allocate resources, and resolve scheduling conflicts using data-driven decisions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and clearly convey priorities, changes, and timelines.
• Experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments, preferably metal or custom structures, is beneficial.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP or similar production planning software and strong Excel skills is preferred.
• Ability to organize multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
