Silva in Momence, IL is seeking a bilingual Production Manager to lead the production department in partnership with the Director of Operations. The role focuses on quality, safety culture, and operational excellence across shifts, driving continuous improvement while coordinating with Engineering, Maintenance, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in a food manufacturing environment and management experience.
• Strong informal leadership and servant leadership skills.
• Willing to work irregular or extended hours to connect with staff on all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day production operations.
• Collaborate with Safety Manager to enforce safety policies.
• Review production schedules with supervisors to meet orders with high quality and efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in production processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration.
• Monitor daily production rates and schedule attainment.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams to ensure readiness and adherence to specs.
• Support performance reviews and employee development.
