Job summary

Our client in Farmingdale, NJ seeks a hands-on Production Manager to lead blending, bagging, receiving and warehouse operations, reporting to the Operations Director. You will manage a small team including an Assistant Production Manager, 3 line leads and hourly staff, drive schedules, ensure quality, safety and inventory accuracy.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required; this is a full-time role with a 7:30am–4:00pm schedule and some overtime during peak-season. Sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in production, packaging, or warehouse operations.
• Experience in production environments involving blending, mixing, and packaged products.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production, blending, packaging, receiving, and warehouse operations
• Direct, coach, and develop Assistant Production Manager and line leads
• Build and manage production schedules based on demand, inventory, and seasonal needs
• Oversee receiving, lot verification, sampling, traceability, storage, and FIFO rotation
• Manage packaging operations, including bagging, baling, stacking, palletizing, and load quality
• Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee cycle counts, replenishment, staging, and shipping
• Monitor production performance, uptime, scrap, rework, labor efficiency, and other KPIs
• Enforce quality standards, corrective actions, and production hold procedures
• Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment issues and improve uptime
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
• Manage seasonal staffing, training, scheduling, and employee performance
• Support satellite warehouse operations and share best practices
• Serve as the operational liaison with key suppliers
• Drive continuous improvement across operations
