The State of Connecticut's Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking a Bilingual Spanish/English Processing Technician to support the CO Medicaid Operation in Wallingford, CT. The role requires strong clerical processing skills and the ability to interpret and apply regulations.

The position offers a first shift with potential hybrid work arrangements after a successful test period, and opportunities for professional development within a collaborative state government environment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of clerical work experience.
• One (1) year of the General Experience must have involved a full range of clerical duties.
• College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of two (2) years.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs the most complex duties related to a state agency's clerical processing functions.
• Examines incoming materials for accuracy, completeness and conformance to state statutes and regulations.
• Maintains calendars and office procedures; assists with filing and record keeping.
