Job summary

Clarvida in Westminster, CA is seeking a Pre-Licensed Therapist for our CalWORKs Behavioral Health Services program. The role provides individual, group, family and couples counseling to support client independence and family empowerment, with a focus on non-Medi-Cal, cost-based services.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, current associate licensure, CA driver’s license, and at least two years of clinical experience. It is full-time with on-site work and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.
• Valid Registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Clinical Social Worker
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and outpatient)
• Valid CA driver's license and active auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, family and couples counseling to enhance personal, social, educational and vocational development.
• Aim to maximize client independence and family empowerment.
• Deliver services in a cost-based program that does not bill Medi-Cal, and qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
