Job summary

Pearland ISD is seeking an Aide Dual Language for Pre-K at Magnolia Elementary. This para-professional will support bilingual instruction and assist teachers with classroom tasks in a busy elementary setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a Texas Educational Aide Certificate (or ability to obtain after hire). Spanish reading/writing skills and prior experience with school-aged children are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate or ability to obtain after hire.
• Two years of college coursework or an associate degree or equivalent demonstration.
• Bilingual with ability to read/write in Spanish.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with classroom activities and administrative requirements.
• Work under the supervision of a certified bilingual teacher(s).
