• Active Maryland licensure and certification to practice as a PMHNP.
• Current PMHNP board certification.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, mental status exams, and diagnostic assessments in English and Spanish.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within your scope of practice.
• Monitor treatment response, side effects, medication adherence, and safety.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and medication instructions clearly.
• Order and review clinically indicated laboratory tests.
• Assess risk and coordinate appropriate follow-up or higher levels of care.
• Collaborate with therapists and other providers to support coordinated treatment.
