Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Engineering background preferred.
• Strong analytical and computer skills.
• Experience in plant production supervision is preferred.
• Ability to articulate performance reviews and corrective action in writing and verbally.
• Capable of inspiring and encouraging the team under pressure.
• Ability to lead, guide, and train through floor leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the effective and efficient use of equipment, machinery and personnel to ensure product flow through the plant remains consistent.
• Meet with your team daily at startup to review safety topics and daily/weekly goals.
• Assist Team Leaders to coordinate activities and assignments of production personnel.
• Consult with the Production/General Manager to determine adequate staffing levels.
• Train and monitor employees to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain communication with engineering to ensure equipment is operational and safe.
• Maintain communications with Team Leaders and General Manager to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure linen is weighed and tickets are managed properly in pack-out areas.
• Manage incoming/outgoing linen, docks, and inventory reporting.
• Ensure areas are kept clean and organized; address corrective actions as needed.
