Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data records.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocols.
• Ensure test requisitions match specimens and maintain specimen integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and read laboratory results.
