Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a bilingual Phlebotomist for our Erie Evanston site at 1285 Hartrey, Evanston, IL. The role requires phlebotomy skills across age groups, accurate data entry, and strong patient service. Travel to other sites may be required.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to support a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Able to pass a color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
