Job summary

Vivo Infusion in New York, NY seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to prepare and dispense infusion drugs and supplies within scope of practice. You will manage inventory, prepare IV admixtures, and verify orders while ensuring sterility and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification required and active.
• Spanish speaker required.
• 2 years in a fast-paced patient-facing or customer service role preferred.
• 1 year of working experience in a pharmacy environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medications, dosing, interactions, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ordering, receiving, unpacking, and stocking pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Review orders and verify requirements prior to patient appointments.
• Prepare intravenous (IV) admixtures or sterile products following sterility guidelines.
• Coordinate medication delivery and refer to appropriate offices when needed.
• Support clinical staff and participate in clinical trials as applicable.
• Maintain infection-control practices and a clean work environment.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and pharmacy standards.
