Job summary

Positive Impact Health Centers INC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with storage, preparation, dispensing, inventory, and medication processing. The role requires Spanish fluency and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

The position is full-time at our GA locations, with a strong focus on patient access to medications, insurance claim processing, and collaboration with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate dispensing.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacy technician in good standing with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
• 1 to 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience with Pioneer Rx Fill Software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist(s) in storing, preparing, dispensing, reconciling and charging of all medications.
• Assist pharmacist(s) in maintaining an adequate and accurate drug inventory; ensure proper storage.
• Enter patient and medication order information into pharmacy fill software.
• Process and submit insurance claims; assist with Prior Authorization as needed.
• Provide quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers; ensure HIPAA compliance.
