Lumicera is seeking a Pharmacist, Clinical Consultation to conduct telephonic patient consultations for specialty medications, reconcile medications, screen for interactions, and provide side effect management. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to quality standards.

The position requires licensure and ACPE-accredited education, with experience in specialty pharmacy preferred. A competitive benefits package and annual bonus (7.5%) are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of residence; must maintain licensure with CE credits.
• At least two years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist preferred.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy medications desirable.
• Commitment to compliance programs and high ethical standards.

Aufgaben

• Provide telephonic patient consultations focusing on disease state management and medication use.
• Document consultations and interventions in pharmacy software per policy and URAC/regulatory standards.
• Interpret prescriptions, verify details with providers, and expedite processing of orders.
• Collaborate with physicians/nurses on pharmaceutical questions and transfers; promote generics when appropriate.
• Support QA activities and stay updated on specialty therapy guidelines.
