Job summary

CMR Insurance Agency LLC in Arlington, VA seeks a Personal Lines Producer to manage and grow a profitable book of personal lines clients. You will identify opportunities, quote, bind coverage, and educate clients on coverages and rates. Bilingual Spanish is highly desirable and growth and compensation are tied to performance.

You will maintain client relationships, prospect new business, and collaborate with team members while staying current on industry changes and CE requirements.

Qualifications

• HOLD the state-required insurance license and have at least two years of personal and commercial lines account management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages and industry operations.
• People-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent time management, team-oriented and proficient with agency software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
• Foster and maintain excellent client relationships through follow-up, timely quotations, and support.
• Actively prospect round accounts and solicit increases in existing client coverage and new clients.
• Obtain best coverage and rates, process quotes, bind coverage, and coordinate inspections and documentation.
• Present policies to insured and educate on coverages and rates.
• Monitor, review, and report on metrics to meet sales targets and document activities professionally.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, and participate in meetings.
• Maintain CE and keep informed on industry info, products, legislation, coverages, and technology.
