Job summary

Sandra Serna State Farm Insurance is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Specialist to maintain and maximize relationships with personal lines clients, servicing auto, home, and life insurance in Texas.

You will service clients in person, online, by phone, and in writing; provide coverage recommendations, process policy changes and billing; and support renewals while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish is required and valued.
• Active Property and Casualty General Lines license is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products for personal lines and related processes.
• Experience in business-to-business insurance customer service is a plus.
• Customer-focused, professional, and able to maintain client relationships.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with agency management systems and tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Service new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients via regular follow-up and timely service requests.
• Provide best coverage recommendations, process policy changes, and handle billing; explain coverages and rates.
• Foster client relationships through timely quotations and general account support.
• Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention; maintain strong relationships.
• Anticipate and respond to client needs and follow up accordingly.
• Monitor, review and report on key metrics to ensure targets are met and document activities.
• Collaborate with team, mentor staff, and participate in meetings as needed.
• Maintain ongoing education on industry developments, products, legislation, and tech.
