Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Personal Care Attendant I to support participants across care delivery platforms.

You will help coordinate and prepare food services, assist center activities, and coordinate quality activity programs for all participants, ensuring their recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs are met. You may accompany PACE participants to external appointments and bring a valid BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• California Food Handler Certification preferred; must be attained within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum 1 year experience with frail elderly and disabled population (preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to participants across all delivery of care platforms.
• Assist in coordination and preparation of all food services; support and assist center activities.
• Coordinate the delivery of quality activity programs/activities for all participants.
• Accompany/assist PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments.
