Job summary

1stnb is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our branch team in the United States. You will handle cash transactions, assist customers with deposits and withdrawals, and promote banking products in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The role requires a team player with a flexible schedule, strong accuracy, and the ability to serve a diverse clientele including Spanish speakers. Training provided; Equal Housing Lender.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent or currently attending high school.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass background investigation.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow established policies as directed by bank and supervisor.
• Demonstrate personal achievement of monthly new account production.
• Participate in an active sales environment with aisle prospecting as needed.
• Process deposits and pay-outs accurately and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Check cash for counterfeit items and proper identification.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Perform other tasks as requested; maintain regular attendance.
