Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA in Newark, NJ is seeking a dedicated full‑time Speech-Language Pathologist. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication needs as part of an integrated autism care model.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance communication skills and social interaction in children with ASD, following evidence‑based ABA approaches and ensuring comprehensive client care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current New Jersey licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
• 2+ years of experience working with children with ASD.
• 2+ years of experience in language development, speech sound disorders, and feeding/oral motor skills preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a full‑time caseload and collaborate within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess communication skills and pragmatics.
• Interpret assessment results and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ABA objectives.
• Implement evidence‑based speech and language therapies and tailor interventions for ASD.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and other professionals to support whole‑child care and participate in team meetings and trainings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and communication logs.
