Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a bilingual Clinical Research Assistant to support the READY Trial in pediatric primary care settings, primarily based at Hillsboro Pediatrics. The role involves recruiting and enrolling participants, and collecting data from Spanish- and English-speaking families.

Ideal candidates have education or work experience in early childhood, pediatrics, or child development, with a background in serving underserved communities.

Formación

• Bachelor's in relevant field OR Associate's AND 2 years of relevant experience OR 3 years of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Two years relevant work experience in a mission-driven organization with one year in early childhood education or child development within underserved populations.
• Research experience with Latino families.
• Working with children and families in early childhood in a therapeutic capacity with compassionate, culturally-sensitive assistance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal communication for recruitment and enrollment.
• Candidate must have reliable transportation; if driving, valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Understanding of Social Determinants of Health and role of SDH in healthcare.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers.
• Customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively.
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule daily activities for the most efficient use of time.
• This position requires bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Support participant recruitment and enrollment.
• Data collection at child and parent level (in-person with 3-4 year old children).
• Data entry and management of study materials.
• Work with study participants in English and Spanish.
• Attend team meetings on-site at OHSU at least once a week.
