Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an immediate hire for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy for children with special needs. You will evaluate, treat, and educate patients and families in a home setting while coordinating with caregivers and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state-issued professional license.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certification.
• Pediatric clinical experience.
• Home health experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations, and caregiver training.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communications with patient and family about progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services as needed.
• Consult with physicians on patient progress and maintain records.
• Manage supplies and equipment; participate in QA/I programs.
• Attend continuing education activities and expand scope of service.
• Maintain adequate caseload and productivity targets.
• Mentor students and new hires; participate in team goals.
