Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy for children with special needs. You will evaluate, treat, and educate families in a home health setting, while building a balanced caseload and collaborating with caregivers and physicians.

The role emphasizes mentorship, leadership opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, PTO, 401K, development funds and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current state-issued professional license.
• Valid state driver.
• CPR certification.
• Pediatric clinical experience.
• Home health experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer pediatric physical therapy at home.
• Direct patient and caregiver in therapeutic tasks.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with family about progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to other services as appropriate.
• Consult with physicians on patient progress.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Participate in QA/QAPI program.
• Attend continuing education to expand scope.
• Maintain adequate caseload and productivity.
• Mentor students and new hires.
• Back-up service provider for other caseloads.
• Comply with company policies.
