VIP Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Representative/Medical Assistant for our Staten Island, NY location. You will greet patients, triage, assist with exams, monitor equipment, maintain sterile environments, and support providers with exam prep and data entry in the practice management system.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, and a Certified Medical Assistant credential is preferred along with 1 year of MA experience.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• 1 year experience as Medical Assistant preferred.
• EMR systems experience preferred; familiarity with vital signs.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and triage them through the flow; ensure a smooth visit.
• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of clinical equipment; escalate issues.
• Assist patients to exam/procedure rooms; assist with walking, transfers, dressing, and prep.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection control precautions.
