Job summary

Kali Smiles Kids in Oakland is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team. You will greet patients, manage appointments, answer calls and emails, and support the clinical staff to ensure smooth visits.

The ideal candidate is friendly, highly organized, bilingual in Spanish, and capable of maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced office environment. Previous dental/medical front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Patient Coordinator or dental/medical receptionist in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Resilient, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced office setting.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems daily.
• Experience with dental/orthodontic software systems preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the office.
• Manage patient appointments and maintain the office schedule to ensure efficient operations.
• Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing information and scheduling appointments as needed
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized front office area
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient experiences
• Support marketing and promotional efforts to attract and retain patients.
