Salud Para La Gente provides high quality healthcare services in the Monterey Bay area. The Patient Access Representative (PAR) role focuses on answering calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate patient information in the system while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA rules.

This full-time position requires English/Spanish bilingual skills, strong communication, and attention to detail. Salary ranges from $22.00 to $27.41 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in customer service.
• Experience with computer entry.
• Excellent alphabetical and numerical skills for filing and payment processing.
• Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to patients and stakeholders.
• Provide accurate information about clinic services and policies.
• Schedule appointments for all clinic locations and services.
• Enter and update patient account information in the practice management system.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
