Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America is seeking a bilingual Commodity Implementation Buyer Specialist to support launch programs in Ellabell, GA. The role focuses on supplier identification, RFPs, negotiations, and cradle-to-grave management within the Parts Development process.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, strong MS Office skills, and 2+ years in automotive purchasing or PPAP/APQP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance or Accounting or related field from accredited university
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel and PowerPoint, required.
• Bilingual preferred – read, write, and speak any two combinations of English, Korean, and/or Spanish fluently.

Responsibilities

• Identify suppliers and analyze capabilities for launches.
• Prepare RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for multi-year full production volume.
• Negotiate long-term agreements and administer contracts.
• Develop and manage supply base meeting specifications and timing.
