Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Texas seeks a Delivery Specialist to operate and maintain store vehicles, delivering parts to professional customers and collecting COD payments. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will use fleet handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, log mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections. You will also secure vehicles and monies, handle returns, assist customers, and support merchandising as business dictates.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries with handheld devices, capture customer signatures, update mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintain daily vehicle inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to store management.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and lock the vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist customers, cashier, and merchandising tasks as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
