Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Texas to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers, while collecting COD payments and handling returns. You will use handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and log mileage, performing daily vehicle inspections.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Additional duties include customer service and merchandising as needed.

Qualifications

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

Deliver parts and products to customers using company vehicles.
Process deliveries with handheld devices, capture customer signatures, log mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure daily inspections are completed.
Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
Communicate customer needs or issues to store management.
Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the store manager.
Clock in/out according to company policy.
Assist customers, serve as cashier, and help with merchandising as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
