O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Texas to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments where required.

You will use fleet devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, and complete vehicle inspections, while keeping vehicles and monies secure. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store management immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Additional duties: customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling core returns.
