Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to customers, and manage COD payments while collecting returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will join a team focused on safe, efficient service.

You will use handheld devices, perform daily inspections, maintain vehicle security, and stay flexible to support store needs, including cashiering and merchandising as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices and monies secure at all times.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report maintenance needs or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist with cashiering, stocking, and merchandising as business dictates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
