Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles, delivering parts to customers and collecting COD payments. You will also pick up customer returns and assist with store tasks as needed.

Fluency in Spanish is highly desired and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You will use fleet devices, perform vehicle inspections, and may help with cashier duties during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company 14/18-point standards.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, and update vehicle mileage.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean and maintained.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, handheld devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report maintenance needs or vehicle damage to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers or act as cashier and help with merchandising when needed.
