Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or related role preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable interacting with patients of different ages and mobility levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and exercise stations for scheduled patients.
• Assist patients with exercises under a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide support during walking, balance, and mobility activities as directed by the therapist.
• Set up equipment and treatment materials before sessions.
• Clean and sanitize tables, equipment, and therapy areas between appointments.
• Prepare basic treatment items such as hot and cold packs as instructed.
• Monitor frequently used supplies and help keep treatment areas stocked.
• Welcome patients and help them navigate their therapy visits.
• Communicate with Physical Therapists and other team members to keep appointments moving.
• Provide occasional front office support, including answering phones and scheduling when needed.
