Job summary

The Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, Inc. seeks a Paralegal Supervisor fluent in Spanish to support MILAP, providing guidance to paralegals and coordinating clinics for immigrants facing removal.

The role includes staff supervision, data tracking, and collaboration with court partners and community organizations. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a law-related field with 2–4 years of paralegal experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Language fluency in Spanish (or another language) is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree (paralegal or law-related) preferred.
• 2–4 years paralegal experience in immigrant law or related field.
• Experience supervising paralegals and training staff.
• Experience in community organizing/outreach.
• Evenings and weekends availability with advance notice.
• Access to reliable transportation for travel to PBRC offices and clinics.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Salesforce preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 6 direct reports, conduct evaluations.
• Prepare statistics for MILAP grant reports and applications.
• Assign staff to clinics and cases; manage volunteer shifts.
• Conduct brief presentations at court or partner events.
• Staff weekly clinics, assist clients with intake and paperwork, provide interpretation.
