Job summary

The Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, Inc. (PBRC) is seeking a highly motivated, organized individual fluent in Spanish (or another language) to support the Maryland Immigrant Legal Assistance Project (MILAP).

The role focuses on managing and supervising MILAP’s paralegal team, with mentorship and training provided. Primary responsibilities include staffing weekly clinics in Baltimore City and Hyattsville, supervising up to six direct reports, and tracking data for grant reports.

Qualifications

• Spanish language fluency or fluency in another language is required.
• Bachelor's Degree; paralegal or law-related experience preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of paralegal experience in immigrant-related casework or supervision.

Responsibilities

• Staff weekly legal clinics in Baltimore City and Hyattsville to assist with intake and ensure client flow.
• Conduct brief presentations at court or other venues.
• Track and summarize data related to clients served and clinic effectiveness.
• Share referral information and resources with immigrants seeking help.
• Increase community awareness of resources and programs.
