Job summary

Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) seeks a Paralegal B to manage a caseload before administrative agencies and support TRLA's mission to provide free legal services across Housing, Immigration, Public Benefits, Employment, and Family. The position is in-person at the assigned office in Laredo.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish and strong written communication.
• Ability to manage a caseload and coordinate with attorneys and clients.
• Experience or education aligned to paralegal duties.

Responsibilities

• With attorney supervision, manage caseload before administrative agencies and courts.
• Complete intakes, eligibility screenings, and client interviews in person or remotely.
• Maintain client communications and deadlines; organize case files and evidence.
• Draft declarations, motions, and administrative filings; gather records.
• Assist with hearing preparation and client education presentations.
