Qualifications

• Paralegal B duties to manage a caseload before administrative agencies.
• Support TRLA’s efforts to provide free legal services across multiple practice areas.
• In-person role at TRLA office in Laredo.

Responsibilities

• With attorney supervision, represent clients in administrative or judicial proceedings.
• Conduct client intakes and eligibility screenings in person or remotely.
• Maintain client communications and document case progress and deadlines.
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to manage case-related activities.
• Gather evidence and research applicable law to support cases.
• Prepare forms and legal documents for filings with agencies and courts.
• Organize evidence, including medical and mental health records.
• Attend community meetings to conduct intake and provide know-your-rights education.
