Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One of the following: AA degree; 48 college credits; 72 college credits; or state paraeducator assessment.
• Proficient in basic spelling, math and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Support students in developing English language skills in small groups or one-on-one.
• Assist students with English across the curriculum.
• Assist teacher with classroom setup and materials preparation.
• Keep accurate classroom records.
• Translate materials for teachers and parents; attend conferences as needed.
