Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Douglasville, GA, is seeking a Store Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales in our paint retail stores. You will help customers select products, answer questions, and process transactions, while maintaining store appearance and inventory.

Candidates should be at least 18, legally eligible to work in the United States, fluent in English and Spanish, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior retail or paint product experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Tint and mix products as needed to customer specifications
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
