Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a part-time Customer Service Specialist for Store #707483 at 209 N. Peters St., New Orleans, LA 70130.

You will work with wholesale and retail customers to identify needs and recommend products, ensuring prompt resolution of concerns and maintaining product quality and in-store presentation. You will stay up-to-date on product features, strive to meet sales goals, handle transactions, and assist with deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have a rating of at least ''meets expectations'' on your last performance appraisal.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses for your current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Load/unload delivery trucks
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales
