Produce Careers Inc. in South Florida is seeking an experienced Bilingual Packinghouse Manager to lead packinghouse operations and ensure efficient fulfillment of customer orders.

You will manage maintenance, QA, inventory, and staff scheduling while collaborating with office, sales, and farming teams to optimize throughput and costs. The role requires long hours during peak season, travel up to four months annually, and strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Competenze

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience with order fulfillment in fresh produce.
• Knowledge of Produce QA regulations is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 months per year.
• Must be able to work long hours during peak season.

Mansioni

• Maintain maintenance programs for coolers and equipment.
• Lead QA and random inspections for package quality.
• Set staffing levels for each process to optimize labor.
• Review labor costs and use data to improve efficiency.
• Oversee FIFO and load staging for forklift operations.
• Manage monthly inventory of packing materials.
• Procure supplies at best available terms and maintain levels.
• Coordinate with office, sales, and farmers on plans.
• Ensure timely fulfillment with production and shipping.
• Lead annual food safety inspection and compliance.
