Job summary

Sysco Houston is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant for the Downtown Houston area. The role focuses on promoting Sysco products and services to new and existing accounts, building relationships, and meeting sales and profit goals.

The position may require non-traditional hours and travel up to 25%. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus sales/restaurant management background is preferred, with bilingual skills helping in diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline (or equivalent).
• 3 years restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience, or Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Research customer needs and recommend products/services accordingly.
• Provide product information and training to customers.
• Drive personal vehicle to accounts and events as needed.
• Maintain sales records, quotes, and reports.
