Job summary

Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern New Jersey is hiring a FELLAS Recruitment Specialist to identify, engage, and enroll eligible fathers in the FELLAS Fatherhood Program across Essex, Hudson, and Passaic Counties. The role focuses on strategic outreach, partnerships, and delivering presentations to promote program participation and retention.

Strong bilingual English/Spanish communication and community networking are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Minimum two years’ community outreach experience.
• Familiarity with the geographic area and population to be served.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Excellent engagement, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and remote outreach/marketing activities to recruit eligible fathers across Essex, Hudson, and Passaic Counties.
• Cultivate partnerships with local organizations to sustain referral processes.
• Schedule and facilitate presentations to promote the FELLAS program at local groups.
• Assist with intake forms and survey tools; prepare related documents.
• Plan promotional events and fatherhood bonding activities; track activities and contacts.
• Distribute marketing materials and maintain confidential tracking files per HIPAA.
